Abstract
This project develops the use of Disaster Monitoring
Constellation (DMC) for national land cover mapping
applications.
CEH will undertake the following activities:
- Assess compositing requirements and prototype
protocols for composite preparation, including
metadata retention.
- Assess ability of DMC to produce
useful segmentation of the uplands.
- Assess compatibility
of DMC with OSMM.
- Assess the temporal requirements
to map Broad Habitats with DMC data (e.g. number
of images and at what time of year).
- Assess the
parcel-based data handling requirements for optimal
use of DMC.
